The Ant & The Grasshopper

In a nutshell: the Ant gathers food while the grasshopper is chilling and living the life. Unfortunately, when winter comes the Ant has food but the Grasshopper is starving. We are totally with the Grasshopper, rather than with the smartass Ant. However the fable’s moral is that it’s best to prepare for the days of necessity.

The Fox & The Grapes

In a nutshell: the Fox which is always a bit arrogant, is trying to reach a bunch of nice hanging grapes. She tries a few times and when she fails she looks at the grapes in disgust and says: “They are probably sour anyway! They are not worth my time” and leaves.

The fable’s moral is that it is easy to despise what you cannot get. Nothing comes easy without hard work though Mrs Fox!
